Lowongan Kerja Site Planning Engineer di Samara Torok Aik Belek Montong Ajan Selong Belanak Praya Barat Daya Lombok Tengah NTB (Rascal Republic) - NesiaNet

Role Overview
Samara is building world-class hospitality and development projects on one of Indonesia's most exciting but logistically challenging islands — and we need a Site Planning Engineer who thrives in that tension. This role is the analytical backbone of our construction programme, responsible for translating high-level master schedules into granular, actionable site plans while maintaining the rigour of international project standards in an environment where supply chains are unpredictable and every week brings a new frontier problem to solve. You will own the scheduling, progress tracking, and performance reporting across active Lombok construction sites, ensuring that our project teams always know where they stand against the plan — even when the plan needs to change on the fly. If you are the kind of engineer who gets energised by building robust systems from the ground up in places that don't have the luxury of established corporate infrastructure, this role was written for you.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and continuously update detailed construction programmes and master schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project, ensuring full alignment with Samara's project delivery milestones across all active Lombok sites.
Break down high-level master schedules into granular, sequence-logical work packages and communicate these effectively to site supervisors, contractors, and the broader project team in a clear, actionable format.
Conduct regular site progress measurements and data collection, translating field observations into accurate schedule updates, earned value metrics, and variance analyses that reflect real on-the-ground conditions.
Identify critical path risks, schedule float erosion, and resource conflicts early — and propose practical recovery plans that account for island-specific constraints such as material lead times, inter-island shipping delays, and local labour availability.
Produce weekly and monthly project performance reports including S-curves, lookahead schedules, and KPI dashboards for senior management and stakeholders, maintaining the reporting discipline expected of an internationally operating company.
Collaborate closely with procurement and logistics teams to integrate material delivery schedules into the construction programme, proactively flagging any supply chain bottlenecks that could impact the critical path.
Support the Project Manager and site leadership in running effective planning meetings, facilitating short-interval scheduling sessions, and ensuring all subcontractors submit and adhere to compliant programme submissions.
Maintain and continuously improve Samara's planning standards, templates, and SOPs, building scalable systems that can be replicated across future development phases on the island.
Manage and archive as-built schedule records, change event logs, and delay substantiation documentation in a manner that supports contractual compliance and future project benchmarking.
Operate with full self-sufficiency in the field — including conducting site walks, ground-truthing schedule assumptions against actual conditions, and adapting planning outputs in real time when island logistics disrupt the programme.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 3–5 years of direct experience in construction planning or scheduling roles on active project sites — not office-based planning only.
Demonstrated proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project, including building and maintaining multi-level WBS structures and critical path schedules.
Proven experience operating in remote, developing, or infrastructure-limited environments where resourcefulness and adaptability are daily requirements — island, jungle, or frontier project experience is highly regarded.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, methodology, and the interdependencies between civil, structural, MEP, and finishing works.
Ability to produce professional project performance reports independently, without reliance on a supporting PMO team.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) sufficient to communicate planning outputs clearly to international stakeholders and management.

Nice to Have
Experience working on hospitality, resort, or mixed-use luxury development projects.
Familiarity with Indonesian construction practices, local contractor management, and PUPR or SNI regulatory frameworks.
Exposure to earned value management (EVM) methodology and its practical application in field conditions.
Professional certification such as PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent planning/scheduling credential.
Bahasa Indonesia language skills — a meaningful advantage for coordinating with local subcontractors and site teams.
Previous experience in Lombok, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, or comparable Eastern Indonesian island development contexts.

Reports to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager, Construction Division. Works in close coordination with the Site Manager, Procurement Lead, and Cost Control team. May provide planning support and reporting inputs to the Head of Construction.
