Working Location: Site Based - West Sumbawa

Working Schedule: Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)

Some of your duties will include:

·Support reliable operation of site-wide water and wastewater utility systems

Assist monitoring of utilities performance across WTP, STP, desalination, wells, and distribution networks.

Coordinate with Supervisors and Specialists to ensure integrated utility system operation.

Support compliance with operational, environmental, and water quality requirements. 

Operations & Process Monitoring

Support monitoring of daily operation of WTP, STP, desalination systems, wells, and distribution networks.

Track performance indicators include flowrate, pressure, dosing performance, and treatment stability.

Assist identification of operational disturbances and treatment deviations.

Support implementation of corrective operational adjustments.

Ensure monitoring data and operational records are properly maintained.

Utility System Coordination

Coordinate closely with Supervisors and Specialists across utilities facilities.

Support synchronization between water production capacity and demand requirements.

Assist consolidation of technical performance data from multiple plants.

Support consistent implementation of utilities operational standards. Assist resolution of cross-facility operational issues.

Maintenance & Asset Reliability Support

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation teams to support preventive maintenance execution.

Monitor equipment operational readiness and availability.

Support condition monitoring of pumps, blowers, membranes, filtration systems, and instrumentation.

Assist in identification of performance degradation risks.

Water Quality & Compliance Support

Support monitoring of water quality and wastewater treatment performance.

Assist verification that produced water meets required specifications.

Support compliance monitoring aligned with environmental permits and corporate standards.

Assist preparation of compliance documentation and monitoring summaries.

 

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering (Water Resources), Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science or related utilities discipline.

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in water treatment plant operation, sewage treatment plant operation, industrial utilities systems, mining utilities environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes, basic reverse osmosis (RO) desalination operation, utility pumping and distribution systems, chemical dosing, water quality monitoring principles, and preventive maintenance coordination practices.

Strong ability to coordinate technical activities across multiple facilities, troubleshoot operational issues, interpret performance data, produce clear reports and documentation, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Experience supporting RO/desalination systems and water distribution infrastructure, with proven involvement in site‑wide utilities operations and a clear understanding of utilities commissioning and handover processes.

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
