About the role

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at Sikara Lombok Hotel in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of the hotel's engineering systems, ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for our guests and staff. This is a contract position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success of our hotel.

What you'll be doing

Manage and coordinate the engineering team to ensure all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety, are maintained and functioning effectively

Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to proactively address potential issues

Respond to and resolve any engineering-related issues or emergencies in a timely manner

Monitor and control energy usage to optimise efficiency and reduce costs

Prepare and manage the engineering department's budget

Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Train and develop the engineering team to enhance their skills and performance

Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any facility-related concerns

What we're looking for

Minimum 5 years of experience as an Engineering Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry

Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of engineering personnel

Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders

Fluency in English and Indonesian
