Company Description Summit Institute for Development (SID), formally Yayasan Institut Pengembangan Suara Mitra, focuses on improving health and human development at the community level across Indonesia. Established in 2007, SID designs and implements research-driven, evidence-based programs, with a strong emphasis on participatory decision-making and sustainable impact. The organization has led numerous maternal and child health initiatives and digital health projects, often in collaboration with national and international partners. Role Description The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support the planning and execution of HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations for SID’s Jakarta office. This contract, on-site role in Jakarta, Indonesia involves coordinating hiring processes, maintaining HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant labor regulations and organizational policies. The role includes supporting training and development initiatives, facilitating internal communications, and contributing to HR policies and procedures. The Assistant Manager Human Resources will collaborate closely with managers and staff to foster a supportive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
Strong skills in HR administration, including maintaining personnel records, preparing HR reports, and ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
Ability to support learning and development activities, including organizing training sessions and tracking staff development plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Solid organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Management, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
Experience in nonprofit, public health, or development sectors in Indonesia is highly beneficial.
Proficiency in MS Office or similar productivity tools; familiarity with HRIS or digital HR tools is an asset.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong written and spoken English skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate day-to-day HR operations and administration.
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
Support employee onboarding, probation, contract management, and offboarding.
Handle employee relations and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
Support performance management, training, and employee development programs.
Coordinate compensation, benefits, payroll inputs, and employee welfare administration.
Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and applicable labor regulations.
Prepare HR reports, monitor HR KPIs, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
Supervise and support HR team members in delivering efficient HR services.
Act as the HR Manager's representative and provide support in strategic HR initiatives when required.
