About the role

Sikara Lombok Hotel is seeking an experienced Steward to join our team on a contract basis at our hotel in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. As a Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our hotel kitchen and dining operations, with a focus on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency.

What you'll be doing

Thoroughly cleaning and sanitising all kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces

Assisting with the receiving, storage, and distribution of food and supplies

Disposing of waste materials and ensuring the kitchen area remains tidy and organised

Supporting the kitchen team with various tasks as required

Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards

Maintaining a positive and professional attitude when interacting with colleagues and guests

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Steward or similar role within the hospitality industry

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
