Sensei Ikan Bartender
Sensei Ikan is a high-end, reservations-only omakase concept focused on precision, intimacy, and omotenashi-style service. This role goes beyond drink preparation-it involves direct guest interaction, storytelling, and pairing beverages with the dining experience.
Requirements:
Indonesian national with several years' experience as bartender in a high-end bar.
Confident, polished, and highly intuitive.
Detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and comfortable engaging with guests in an intimate, premium environment.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Strong interest in Japanese beverages, cuisine, and sushi service.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, personalized service to guests seated at the bar.
Engage with guests in a professional, warm, and knowledgeable manner.
Explain beverage offerings, including sake, Japanese whisky, and cocktails.
Recommend pairings that complement sushi and omakase menus.
Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, sake, wine, and mocktails.
Execute classic and Japanese-inspired cocktails with precision and consistency.
Work closely with chefs to coordinate timing and enhance guest experience.
