Sales Manager
General Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong network within corporate, travel, and event sectors
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Target-oriented and able to work under pressure
Proficient in English, both spoken and written
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
Identify and generate new business opportunities, including corporate clients, travel agents, and event organizers
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business
Conduct sales calls, presentations, and contract negotiations
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify business opportunities
Collaborate with the marketing team on promotions and sales campaigns
Manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate revenue forecasts
Represent the hotel/company at networking events, trade shows, and exhibitions
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
Handle inquiries, proposals, and follow-ups professionally
Coordinate with other departments, including Front Office, Reservations, and F&B, to ensure smooth service delivery
Ensure all services meet company and hotel standards
Lead, supervise, and motivate the sales team, if applicable
Set individual and team sales targets
Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluations
Work with management on pricing strategies and sales packages
