The Superintendent Regulatory Compliance & Monitoring is responsible for ensuring that all company activities across exploration, project construction, and operations & maintenance comply with applicable regulatory requirements, permits, licenses, and government obligations. This role leads regulatory compliance monitoring programs and collaborates with exploration, construction, and operational teams to ensure regulatory obligations are fulfilled throughout the mining lifecycle
Some of your duties will include:
A. Regulatory Compliance Monitoring
Develop and implement regulatory compliance monitoring systems for exploration, construction, and operational activities.
Monitor company activities to ensure compliance with mining, environmental, land use, and operational regulations.
Maintain regulatory obligation registers derived from permits, licenses, and government approvals.
Track compliance status and ensure operational teams adhere to regulatory permit commitments.
B. Compliance Assurance & Internal Regulatory Audit
Conduct periodic regulatory compliance reviews and internal audits across exploration sites, construction projects, and operational facilities.
Identify potential compliance gaps and initiate corrective actions.
Evaluate operational practices to ensure alignment with approved permits and regulatory commitments.
Develop corrective action plans for compliance findings.
C. Regulatory Reporting & Permit Compliance
Ensure timely preparation and submission of regulatory reports required by government authorities.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to compile regulatory data related to exploration, construction, and operational performance.
Maintain documentation of compliance evidence for regulatory inspections.
Ensure regulatory reporting obligations are fulfilled according to government deadlines.

What skills and experience do you need?
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Law / Regulatory Affairs, or Public Policy.
Master’s Degree is an advantage.
Minimum 8–12 years of experience in regulatory compliance, permitting, environmental management, or mining governance.
Experience in mining operations, exploration programs, or large construction projects with minimum 3–5 years in supervisory or leadership roles with experience coordinating with government regulatory agencies.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian mining regulatory framework with understanding of mining permits, exploration permits, and environmental compliance requirements.
Experience in compliance monitoring and regulatory audits and understanding of mining lifecycle: exploration → construction → operations.
