PURPOSE

To ensure safety compliance and promote a strong safety culture within process maintenance operations, facilitating effective cross-departmental collaboration, and supporting operational safety through proactive engagement and rigorous reporting practices.

Main Responsibility

Ensure Process Maintenance personnel operate safely and comply with all acts, regulations, laws and client rules and regulation applicable to the contract and the Indonesian mining industry.

Provide accurate, timely and clear reporting and communication on safety concern in process operation.

Build relationships and create an environment for cross-collaboration between departments.

Monitor and ensure the effectiveness of safety awareness and training program based on competence to improve the safety culture.

Assist to investigate of any incident and near miss. All comments and recommendation should be made.

Support the process operation plans and assessment of any potential hazards to be highlighted.

Promote the safety culture and ensure workplace safe to work

Communicate and attend with process operation team in daily toolbox talk encouraging worker participation, following up on past agendas and introducing relevant new safety topics/campaign for discussion.

Responds to emergencies that could cause injury to personnel or loss of production.

Ensures compliance with safety and job training programs.

Conduct regular tools inspection of each to monitor standards of implementation.

Performing additional assignments

Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree in  Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental qualifications or relevant qualifications with minimum 3 years’ OHS experience

The candidate should possess HSE System Trainings, Certified Occupational Safety and Health (Ahli K3 Umum, etc)

Have strong knowledge about safety, health & environment standard (SMK3, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015, Safety Auditor, Risk Management process) and government safety regulation; Demonstrated reporting and presentation capabilities.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; good in coaching/mentoring; good analytical; conflict resolution. 

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate
