Working Location : Site Based -  West Sumbawa

Working Schedule : Regular working days 5:2 (Monday-Friday)

Responsible for planning, executing, and supervising mechanical maintenance activities in the Fixed Process Plant area to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance, supporting sustainable plant availability and operational continuity.

Some of your duties will include:

Main Responsibility (Operation/Production/Technical/Projects/Administration)

•            Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team in the Fixed Process Plant area.

•            Develop maintenance strategies, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.

•            Ensure the availability and reliability of Grinding Mill, Crusher, Pump, Cyclone, and Conveyor systems.

•            Supervise shutdown, overhaul, and major maintenance execution.

•            Analyze equipment failures through root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement actions.

•            Ensure all maintenance activities comply with K3 standards, environmental requirements, and company regulations.

•            Manage maintenance budgets, critical spare parts, and coordination with warehouse and procurement.

•            Coordinate with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve plant availability.

•            Prepare maintenance performance reports, KPIs, and improvement programs for management.

•            Manage maintenance contractors and vendors as required.

•            Other duties as assigned.

Authorities (The right to make decisions or take actions in accordance with responsibilities and position within the organization)

•            Assign, direct, and control mechanical maintenance personnel within the Fixed Process Plant area.

•            Approve and implement maintenance strategies and programs, including preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance.

•            Authorize maintenance activities required to maintain equipment availability and reliability of process equipment.

•            Approve and control shutdown, overhaul, and major maintenance execution plans.

•            Decide and authorize corrective and preventive actions based on root cause analysis and improvement findings.

•            Enforce compliance with K3, environmental standards, and company regulations, including stopping unsafe or non-compliant work.

•            Approve utilization of maintenance budgets and critical spare parts within delegated authority and coordinate procurement needs.

•            Coordinate maintenance priorities with operations to minimize downtime and optimize plant availability.

•            Validate maintenance performance reports, KPIs, and improvement initiatives submitted to management.

•            Select, manage, and evaluate maintenance contractors and vendors in accordance with company procedures.

What skills and experience do you need?

Education       

•            Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline.

Experience     

•            Minimum 8–10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including at least 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

•            Proven experience handling Fixed Process Plant equipment, including:

o            Grinding Mill (SAG/Ball Mill)

o            Crusher systems (Gyratory, Pebble Crusher)

o            Pump and Cyclone systems

o            Conveyor and Overland Conveyor systems

•            Exposure to reliability engineering principles and maintenance planning & scheduling in mining or heavy manufacturing environments.

Technical Competency         

•            Be able to lead and manage mechanical maintenance teams in a Fixed Process Plant environment.

•            Be able to develop and implement preventive, predictive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance strategies.

•            Be able to ensure reliability and availability of Grinding Mills, Crushers, Pumps, Cyclone systems, and Conveyors.

•            Be able to plan, supervise, and control shutdowns, overhauls, and major mechanical maintenance activities.

•            Be able to conduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvement solutions.

•            Be able to ensure maintenance compliance with K3 standards, environmental requirements, and company regulations.

•            Be able to manage maintenance budgets, critical spare parts, and coordination with warehouse and procurement functions.

•            Be able to coordinate effectively with operations teams to minimize downtime and improve plant availability.

•            Be able to prepare, analyze, and present maintenance performance reports, KPIs, and improvement programs.

•            Be able to manage maintenance contractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and compliance.

•            Be able to apply reliability engineering concepts and maintenance planning & scheduling practices.

•            Be able to perform strong technical analysis and systematic problem-solving for mechanical equipment failures.

•            Be able to implement K3 standards and maintenance best practices in mining or heavy manufacturing industries.

•            Be able to demonstrate effective communication and leadership skills in managing maintenance teams and stakeholders.
