We are currently seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Finance Controller to join our client team in Lombok. This role will work closely with the General Manager and department heads to ensure strong financial governance, operational efficiency, and strategic financial planning across the property.Key Responsibilities
Partner with the General Manager to provide accurate forecasting and budgeting proposals for the resort
Prepare capital expenditure reviews as required by the General Manager and/or Accounting Department
Develop and continuously improve best-practice financial accounting and internal control procedures
Ensure balance sheets accurately reflect the assets and liabilities of the hotel
Lead monthly finance update meetings with the Operations Manager and resort team
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maximizing accounting KPIs performance
Review balance sheets and ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately and timely
Support Heads of Departments in improving financial awareness and provide relevant financial data for operational decision-making
Collaborate with HR on payroll control, payroll budgeting, and procedures
Initiate, supervise, and conduct spot checks of inventory and fixed asset stock takes
Train, supervise, evaluate, and develop accounting department team members
Oversee and control purchases, disbursements, payroll, and resort expenses
Prepare and issue Monthly Financial Reports and required supporting documentation
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Finance Controller or Finance Manager, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
Strong financial management and analytical skills with strategic thinking capability
High attention to detail and strong internal control mindset
Computer literate with knowledge of hospitality/industry-related software
Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Strong understanding of the Uniform System of Accounts
