The Bar Manager is responsible for leading and managing all bar operations at Codium Beach Restaurant to deliver outstanding guest experiences. This includes supervising the bar team, maintaining high service standards, overseeing inventory and beverage quality, supporting marketing and promotional efforts, and contributing to financial performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during peak hours.

Maintain high standards of beverage preparation and presentation.

Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and beverage regulations.

Hire, train, and develop bar staff including bartenders and barbacks.

Create staff schedules to ensure proper shift coverage.

Motivate and lead the team to deliver excellent service standards.

Conduct regular performance reviews and coach team members.

Manage bar inventory and beverage stock levels; order supplies as needed.

Monitor beverage costs, negotiate with suppliers, and control wastage.

Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction and address feedback or complaints professionally.

Recommend drinks, promote specials, and create an inviting bar atmosphere.

Qualifications & Skills

Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, Business, or related field is a plus.

Proven experience in bar operations, with at least 1-2 years in a bar or beach restaurant environment.

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Knowledge of beverage products, mixology, and inventory management.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic beach/bar setting, including evenings and weekends.

Enthusiastic, organized, and proactive.
