About the role
We are seeking an exceptional Head Cook to join our team at Cocoon Reserve in Kuta Lombok Tengah Nusa Tenggara Barat. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations and leading a team of talented chefs to deliver a world-class dining experience for our guests.
What you'll be doing
Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
Lead and mentor a team of chefs, providing guidance, training and support to maintain consistently excellent culinary standards
Develop and refine the menu, incorporating innovative dishes that showcase your culinary expertise and align with the company's brand and vision
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a safe and compliant kitchen environment
Collaborate with the management team to monitor and control food and labour costs, optimising operational efficiency
Foster a positive and productive kitchen culture, promoting teamwork, communication and continuous improvement
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Head Cook , fast-paced hospitality environment
Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques, menu planning, and cost control
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen management best practices
Creativity and innovation in menu development, with the ability to create unique and appealing dishes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with the broader team
