Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and evaluate Pancasila and Civic Education units aligned with Indonesian national standards and SPK requirements.

Integrate the values of Pancasila into meaningful, real-world learning experiences.

Support the development of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila attributes within the school community.

Connect national civic themes with IB learner profile attributes and global contexts.

Facilitate classroom discussions on democracy, citizenship, law, ethics, pluralism, and national identity.

Employ formative and summative assessment strategies aligned with national curriculum expectations.

Encourage respectful dialogue and critical analysis of contemporary social and civic issues.

Collaborate with IB subject teachers to create interdisciplinary connections between national and global perspectives.

Support accreditation processes and compliance with Indonesian Ministry of Education regulations.

Participate actively in professional learning communities and whole-school initiatives.



Background Experiences

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Pendidikan Pancasila and Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) or related civic studies.

Experience implementing Kurikulum Merdeka or previous national curriculum frameworks.

Strong understanding of SPK regulatory requirements and reporting structures.

Experience working in international or bilingual school settings is an advantage.

Ability to foster respectful discourse on complex civic and societal topics.

Experience contributing to whole-school character or citizenship programs is preferred.



Professional & Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Civic Education, Law, Political Science, Social Studies Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).

Indonesian teaching certification (S.Pd., M.Pd., or equivalent recognized credentials).

Demonstrated knowledge of Indonesian constitutional principles and national education standards.

Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to communicate effectively in English within an IB environment is an advantage.
