Field Operator in the LNG Terminal & Regasification Facility is responsible for operating and monitoring field equipment, holds as Process Isolation Authority and oversight field activities done Maintenance or other  team to ensure safe execution. The job involves a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Operations : start/stop equipment or open/close valves locally as instructed by CR Operator or Shift Supervisor. Monitor  field equipment  of the LNG Terminal & Regas facilities.

Process Isolation Authority : responsible to plan and execute process isolations & de-isolations before and after maintenance or other works that require to isolate/deisolate the process

Field Oversight:  review work permits  and oversight field activities done by Maintenance  or other team on LNG jetty, storage, vaporization, and utilities areas

Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to equipment malfunctions, process deviations, and abnormal conditions. Take corrective actions to maintain safe and efficient operations.

Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency situations, including leaks, spills, or equipment failures. Execute emergency shutdown procedures and coordinate with the emergency response team as needed.

Collaboration: Work closely with other operators, maintenance personnel, and support staff to ensure smooth coordination of activities. Communicate effectively with team members and other relevant stakeholders.

Logbook Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of process conditions, equipment status, and operational events in the logbook. Record any deviations, incidents, or abnormal occurrences.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational procedures. Follow established protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Training: Stay updated on new technologies, procedures, and safety protocols. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to LNG operations.

Equipment Inspections: support routine inspections of equipment and instrumentation to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.

Communication: Maintain effective communication with the control room team, field operators, and other relevant personnel. Provide clear and concise information during shift handovers.

Coordinate closely with CR Operators on running, testing, monitoring the systems.

In the event of a Unit Trip immediately  report to CR Operator and Shift Supervisor. Assist the Shift Supervisor during any incident by monitoring plant conditions.

Qualifications:

Graduate from Senior High school; technical certification in a related field is preferred. Diploma degree preferred.

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as Operator in LNG or a related industry; experience with LNG equipment and processes is highly desirable.

Strong understanding of LNG production and processing systems.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.

Proficiency in using control systems and monitoring equipment.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude.
