Oversee and ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable design, implementation, and maintenance of instrumentation, control, and telecommunications systems within the LNG Facility. · Lead maintenance programs and turnaround activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards, accurate documentation, and high service reliability to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement plans, policies, and procedures to enhance work efficiency, safety, and continuous training within the Maintenance & Engineering Department.

Monitor and review the performance of plant IT systems to ensure alignment with company goals and operational objectives.

Execute the plant maintenance program to achieve high equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance.

Evaluate maintenance program effectiveness and recommend necessary improvements.

Plan and manage LNG Facility turnaround activities, ensuring materials, spare parts, and resources are available and work is completed on schedule.

Assess training needs for maintenance personnel and coordinate with the Training Department for skill development.

Maintain and update engineering deliverables (as-built drawings, diagrams, datasheets) to reflect actual plant conditions and operational modifications.

Design, specify, and configure instrumentation and control systems for LNG processes and equipment.

Develop and implement control strategies to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.

Design and oversee telecommunications systems, including data networks, security systems, and communication equipment.

Collaborate with cross‑discipline engineers to integrate electrical, instrumentation, and telecom systems seamlessly into overall operations.

Participate in the layout and placement of electrical and instrumentation equipment to optimize performance and maintenance access.

Oversee commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and telecom systems to ensure proper functionality.

Support maintenance activities by diagnosing electrical and instrumentation issues and recommending technical improvements.

Work with procurement to specify, select, and acquire compliant equipment; prepare scopes of work for contractor‑performed maintenance, and supervise contractors during planned outages

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Physics, or Instrumentation Engineering

Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, preferably in LNG, oil & gas, or petrochemical industries

Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical systems within industrial facilities

Experience in telecommunications systems and plant maintenance is an advantage

Proven capability in designing, configuring, and implementing instrumentation and control systems

Experience with Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and functional safety standards

Ability to develop, review, and improve maintenance programs and technical documentation

Experience in commissioning, system testing, troubleshooting, and performance validation

Ability to prepare technical specifications, scopes of work (SOW), and evaluate equipment for procurement

Experience in managing contractors and overseeing work quality during planned outages or turnarounds

Strong coordination skills to work with cross-disciplinary engineering and operations teams

Demonstrated leadership competencies including collaboration, trust-building, conflict resolution, decision-making, and team development

Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred

Certifications in Instrumentation & Control (ISA, TÜV, or equivalent) and Functional Safety (TÜV SIS) are highly desirable

Industrial telecommunications certification is an advantage

Ability to work on site in Sumbawa with regular working hours (no roster)
