Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Some of your duties will include:

·      Design and execute a rigorous internal audit program specifically targeted at

maintaining all criteria mandated by DJBC, especially for the continuation of

MITA/AEO status (e.g., financial integrity, internal control systems, and accurate

customs declarations).

·      Ensure the internal Export-Import SOPs fully comply to Customs / Government

regulations and to leverage the benefits of the MITA/AEO facility (e.g.,

·      Green/Priority Channel treatment, no pre-notification, electronic submission, and

deferred payment where applicable), while strictly adhering to compliance

protocols.

·      Coordinate internal data analysis and responses to proactive control activities and

·      monitoring by Bea Cukai officials, ensuring the company’s profile remains low-risk

and compliant.

·      Manage and audit the detailed documentation required to demonstrate the

company’s ongoing compliance, including Public Accountant audit opinions required

under MITA/AEO criteria.

·      Perform comprehensive internal audits of customs documentation (e.g., PEB, PIB)

for valuation, tariff classification (HS code accuracy) and Country of Origin.

·      Proactively identify and monitor high-risk areas that could lead to non-compliance,

penalties, or the revocation or temporary suspension of the MITA/AEO status.

·      Ensure all customs-related records are accurately maintained and compliant with

statutory record-keeping requirements for potential customs reviews.

·      Act as the primary contact and internal lead for preparing the company's defence

and documentation for any official customs audits (Audit Kepabeanan), particularly

·      those leveraging MITA/AEO’s sampling audit techniques.

·      Serve as the internal subject matter expert, providing guidance and advice to senior

management and other departments on complex customs and MITA/AEO-related

matters (Expert Advice).

·      Develop and deliver specialized compliance training to relevant personnel on the

responsibilities and strict adherence required for maintaining MITA/AEO status.

·      Maintain good relationship with MITA/AEO Client Coordinator/Manager with respect

to Amman ethic and procedures.

Persyaratan Khusus

What skills and experience do you need?

·      Bachelor’s degree qualification in engineering/ supply chain/ logistics/ transport management /economy /law or equivalent experiences.

·      Have at least 3 years’ working experiences in similar role as Senior Specialist - Internal Customs Audit and direct experience managing a company with MITA/AEO status)

·      with minimum of six (6) years of progressive experience in Indonesian customs compliance (at least three (3) years of direct experience managing a company with MITA/AEO status)

·      Good knowledge on up-to-date Indonesia Customs Regulation is a must and experience on the international shipping/logistics management; Deep, practical and current expertise in Indonesia Customs Regulations, including the specific criteria, benefits, obligations and monitoring mechanisms of the MITA/AEO facility; Proven ability to interpret and apply complex customs laws (UU Kepabeanan) to commercial processes.

·      Possess leadership traits, Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail; Good interpersonal skill;

·      Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate; Strong computer skills to utilize Company’s standard Ms. Office software package, as well as project-specific software such as database software, etc.
