Job Overview
Responsible for ensuring full compliance of all construction activities with approved project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements by conducting inspections, implementing quality control procedures, developing and reviewing Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), documenting quality findings and corrective actions, preparing quality reports, and coordinating closely with contractors, site teams, and the Project and/or Construction Manager throughout all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all construction work complies with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
Conduct inspections of materials, processes, and finished work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Develop ITP for tender documents and review ITP submitted by contractors.
Implement quality control procedures for construction phases.
Collaborate with contractors, supervisors, and the Construction Manager to address and resolve quality concerns.
Document quality issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
Prepare quality assurance reports and maintain detailed records of inspections.
Monitor adherence to safety and environmental regulations during inspections.
Participate in training sessions to maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality standards and practices.
Job Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, are a plus.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control/inspections roles of overall experienced incosntruction/building and real estate (hospitality).
Having worked in both contractor and owner companies would be advantageous.
Familiarity with resort or hospitality developments is advantageous.
Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and budgeting.
Knowledge of construction quality standards and testing methods
Familiarity with construction materials and processes.
Proficiency in documentation and reporting tools
Personal Qualities
Leadership and decision-making skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, problem-solving and adaptability under pressure.
