Le Pirate Island – Gili Lontar is a unique island resort with 30 rooms, located off the southern coast of Lombok. Our operation runs through two integrated hubs:

 • Mainland Operations (Front Office & Back Office support)

 • Island Resort Operations (Guest Experience & On-Island Services)

We are currently looking for an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our pre-opening phase and oversee full operations across both mainland and island teams.

Role Overview

As Operations Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in ensuring seamless coordination between mainland and island operations. You will lead recruitment, training, SOP development, and operational readiness prior to opening, and manage day-to-day operations post-opening to ensure efficiency, safety, and an exceptional guest experience.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong operational background who is comfortable managing complex logistics in a remote island resort environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and integrate all operational activities across mainland and island locations

 • Lead pre-opening preparation: recruitment, training, SOP development, and simulations

 • Ensure smooth guest journey from mainland arrival to island stay and departure

 • Supervise mainland operations (Front Office, Laundry, Back Office, Purchasing, Accounting support)

 • Oversee island resort operations, ensuring service quality, safety, and efficiency

 • Coordinate shuttle boat operations and inter-location logistics

 • Manage budgets, cost control, inventory, and operational efficiency

 • Ensure compliance with hospitality, safety, hygiene, and maritime regulations

 • Lead, coach, and develop operational teams across both locations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in hospitality operations (resort, island, or remote locations preferred)

 • Experience working in Lombok and understanding local culture

 • Proven experience in pre-opening projects is a strong advantage

 • Strong leadership and people management skills

 • Solid understanding of Front Office, Back Office, and Resort operations

 • Experience with logistics, transfers, or marine operations is a plus

 • Hands-on, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment

 • Fluent in English (spoken and written)

 • Willing to be based between mainland Lombok and island operations
