Some of your duties will include:
To originates and leads Safety and Quality objectives to ensure the alignment with company objectives.
To manage company objectives and all applicable Government of Indonesia regulatory and permit obligation for Mine Safety and Quality with reporting, compliance, and other statutory requirements.
Oversees the implementation of Training and Development Plan and Operational Mine Safety and Quality.
Oversees and manages the work of reporting Training and Mine Ops HSEQ staff. Encourages the ongoing development of Training and Mine Safety and Quality staff.
Develops and monitors an annual budget Mine Safety and Quality.
Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Provides advice and counsel to Superintendent, supervisors, and employees as to Development of Mine Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
Participates in management, and company staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.
Implements Emergency Response Plan Procedure(s) as complied with, both Departmental and company alliance, and ensure compliances with company standard operating procedures.
Conduct annual side wide risk register (IBPR) for Mining Department and follow up priority as appropriate.
Manage Mining Department Risk Register and evaluation of the implementation layer audit for Top 10 High Risk to each department involvement.
Responsible to the preparation and submittal for accident/incident report in mining site area to Sr. Manager Safety and Training.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills while leading the Safety and Quality department toward company goals and objectives.
Act as Management Representative in accordance with assigning by top management to implement and maintained the process, requirement, integrity, and effectiveness of Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance to ISO9001;2015
Reporting on the Quality Management System performance and opportunities for improvement to top management
To Promote customer requirements
To Liaison with external parties (certification body)
Develop business plans/objectives/targets for the Training and Mine Operational HSEQ that are aligned with Corporate and Site business requirements.
Comply with Business Plan annual budget timely manner for Mine Operational HSEQ.
May propose new initiative procedure to ensure effective and efficient Mine Operational HSEQ aspect within Operational Site.
Benchmarking with other Indonesia Mining Company within aspect of Mine Operational HSEQ.
Champion business improvement and optimization activities to achieve operational efficiencies.
Ensure all significant non-conformances to forecast or plan are investigated immediately to determine root cause and corrective action to re-align with project KPI’s.
What skills and experience do you need?
University Degree/Bachelor degree with minimum Strata (S1) in Occupational, Health and Safety, Mining, Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering.
Have 10 years as a Manager/Superintendent Mine Operational HSE with direct report at least 15 persons; At least 15 years in large scale Mining or Construction industry experience;
Have experience in complying with the Statutory Mining and HSEQ requirements;
Good knowledge in Mining, Construction, Indonesia Regulation in DEMR (Kepmen 18016/2018, Kepmen 1827/2018, Kepdirjen 185/2019; Accident Incident Investigation Loss Caution Models; Contractor Safety Management System; SMKP Implementation in the organization refer to Kepdirjen 185/2019; To support the Implementation ISO45001:2018 and Implementation ISO9001:2015; Accident/Incident Investigation ICAMS
Prefer POU (Pengawas Operational Utama) level of DEMR Certification; Certificate as Auditor ISO45001:2018 and ISO9001:2015
Good in managing and coordinating teams, setting tasks, resources and schedules to meet work plan; Work across multi discipline business while listening and delivering to the various Department needs; Driving key systematic processes which track, report and measure competency compliance by Department (and proactively address these gaps); Excellent engagement skills to be utilized across a variety of key stakeholder (Government (supporting GovRel), Community (supporting SR), and various Dept. Leaders);
Excellent verbal and written skills in Bahasa Indonesia & English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels; Demonstrated reporting capabilities; Presentation skills are essential;
