Position: Field Engineer / Tyreman

Location: Sumbawa

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site technical support to dealers, fleet customers, and mining customers, including tire inspection, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.

Conduct tire lifecycle evaluations, including installation, rotation, pressure checks, and wear analysis, to ensure proper maintenance practices.

Perform field testing, data collection, and failure analysis to support product improvement and customer solutions.

Deliver technical training for customers and internal teams related to tire handling, safety, and performance standards.

Support Sales and Marketing teams during product trials, customer visits, and technical presentations.

Handle technical claims, prepare field reports, and provide recommendations to improve product and service quality.

Conduct routine market and site visits within assigned regions to monitor performance and identify opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related fields.

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in field service, technical support, tire engineering, or automotive or industrial roles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in diagnosing tire or equipment-related issues.

Physically fit and able to work in challenging environments such as mining sites, fleet operations, and industrial areas.

Experience in tire products, fleet operations, heavy equipment, or mining support will be an advantage.

Preferably domiciled in Sumbawa or NTB, or willing to be permanently based at a mining site in Sumbawa, NTB.
