We are a high-energy, community-focused beer garden and restaurant in the heart of Kuta, Lombok. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and driven Operations & General Manager to lead daily operations and help scale the business to the next level.

Role Overview

This position manages all aspects of daily restaurant and bar operations, staff leadership, financial oversight, and strategic execution. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong communication and problem-solving abilities, comfortable balancing both on-site presence and administrative responsibilities.

Time Split: ~40% office / 60% floor presence

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Business

Oversee daily restaurant & bar operations

Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor costs

Handle suppliers, purchasing, and inventory control

Maintain government & permitting relationships

Coordinate facility maintenance & contractors

Execute strategic initiatives with ownership

Ensure compliance with health, safety & regulatory standards

Staff Leadership

Recruit, train & supervise FOH/BOH teams

Build positive, accountable workplace culture

Lead pre-shift meetings & ongoing training

Manage performance & staff development

Financial & Administrative

Support budgeting, payroll & financial reporting

Maintain cost control across food, beverage & labor

Use POS data to guide operational decisions

Prepare reports for ownership & investors

Requirements

2+ years experience in restaurant/bar management (preferred)

Strong F&B operational knowledge

Experience with POS systems & basic accounting

Excellent leadership, communication & organization

Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Willing to learn Bahasa Indonesia (or conversational)

Background check required

Criminal record will not disqualify a candidate

Minimum 3-year commitment
