Specialist IT Application Administrator

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

·     Ensure compliance with company and IT Policies and Procedures, maintaining adherence to IT governance standards.

·     Enforce user access management policies, including Segregation of Duties and Change Management, ensuring compliance with security protocols.

·     Process approved requests for application access, including user account creation, modification, password resets, access removal, and delegation of authority setup.

·     Assist in compiling user access logs, audit trails, and other security data for periodic reporting and compliance reviews.

·     Provide technical support to users facing application access issues, determining whether direct assistance, referral to key users, or escalation to the IS Help Desk is required.

·     Perform administrative and clerical tasks related to application security and access management as needed.

·     Suggest improvements to IT security policies, standards, tools, and environments, identifying opportunities for enhanced security practices.

·     Other duties as assigned

Required Technical Skills and Experience:

·       Bachelor Degree with related working experience minimum three years.

·       Familiarity with business computer applications.

·       Be able to comply with IT governance policies, including User Access, Segregation of Duties, and Change Management procedures.

·       Be able to manage application access requests, ensuring user permissions align with security policies.

·       Be able to process account modifications, including adding users, adjusting permissions, resetting passwords, and removing access.

·       Be able to support IT security audits, compiling and reviewing user access logs and audit trails for compliance reporting.

·       Be able to assist users with application access issues, determining appropriate solutions or referrals.

·       Be able to perform administrative and documentation tasks, supporting IT security operations.

·       Be able to identify and recommend security improvements, enhancing system protection and user access control.

·       Essentials to have: ITIL Foundation Certificate (preferred), CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification in IT security (advantageous), Any certification related to access control or information security (e.g., ISO 27001 awareness) is desirable.

·       English language skills are required.
