Some of your duties will include:
Responsible to support the design, implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefit programs that ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role ensures fair and effective reward systems that attract, motivate, and retain employees, supporting the company’s strategic goals and operational excellence in the gold mining industry.
Compensation Management
Conduct salary benchmarking, internal equity analysis, and participate in industry salary surveys (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, PwC).
Support job evaluation and grading processes, ensuring consistency across functions and alignment with the company’s pay structure.
Maintain and update salary structure (minimum–mid–maximum), reflecting market movement, inflation, and business performance.
Support annual salary review, merit increase, and promotion adjustment cycles including budget modeling, simulation, and analytics.
Develop and maintain compensation reports, dashboards, and analytics for management decision-making.
Ensure compensation-related data integrity within HRIS (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors).
Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefit programs including insurance, medical, pension, allowance, and site-specific benefit schemes.
Coordinate with external vendors and brokers for benefit renewals, claims, and service performance evaluation.
Review and recommend enhancements to benefit policies to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor benefit usage and prepare periodic reports for management.
Policy, Compliance & Audit
Ensure compensation and benefit practices comply with local labor laws and company regulations (e.g., UU Cipta Kerja, BPJS, tax regulation).
Support audits, provide accurate data, and ensure compliance documentation.
Maintain confidentiality and data security for all employee pay and benefit information.
Analytics, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Develop compensation-related metrics (e.g., compa-ratio, salary progression, turnover cost) and generate insights for management.
Contribute to Total Rewards and employee engagement programs, ensuring alignment with corporate values and ESG framework.
Support the digitalization of compensation processes (e.g., automation, HR dashboards, predictive analytics).
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
Minimum 3–5 years experience in compensation and benefit or total rewards, preferably in mining, energy, or heavy industry sector.
Demonstrated experience in salary structure design, market benchmarking, benefit administration, and HR data analysis; Solid understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, and BPJS implementation; Knowledge of Compensation Analytics, Job Evaluation (Mercer IPE or Hay), and Total Rewards philosophy is an advantage.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills; Strong analytical and numerical ability; High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality; Strong organizational and time management skills; Professional integrity, discretion, and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters; Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handle pressure, and deliver timely solutions.
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate - Experience using SAP HR / SuccessFactors / Oracle / similar HRIS preferred; proficient in database management, excel modeling, pivot tables, and data visualization.
