We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our project team. The QS will be responsible for cost estimation, tender documentation, project budget monitoring, and contractual management to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and project budgets based on drawings and specifications.
Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare detailed measurement sheets.
Evaluate progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts from contractors and subcontractors.
Assist in tender preparation, including documentation, cost analysis, and bid evaluation.
Monitor and control project expenditures, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
Analyze unit rates and material prices, and update cost databases regularly.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to manage cost and schedule efficiency.
Support the preparation of contract documents, reports, and financial forecasts.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual terms, and local regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction, civil, or interior projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost analysis.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and preferably cost estimation software (e.g., Cubicost, CostX).
Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Capable of working independently and within multidisciplinary teams under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with FIDIC or local contract standards is an advantage.
