Lowongan Kerja Supervisor - Slag Concentrator (Smelter) di PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara Sumbawa Barat NTB - NesiaNet

This role is responsible for supervising the frontline team, during the assigned shift, in the operation of the Slag Concentrator for recovery of copper from the slag produced from furnaces.

Some of your duties will include:

Supervising frontline operators during the assigned shift in implementing efficient operation of their respective stages at the Slag Concentrator through implementation of all quality parameters, SOPs and WIs

Supervising data recording by frontline operators under jurisdiction during the assigned shift

Enabling routine preventive and predictive maintenance as well as shutdowns in collaboration with engineering teams to improve uptime of the Slag Concentrator

Supervising and coordination on trouble shooting safety implementation including the application of the authorization to work permit within area of responsibility and fixed plant isolations SOP’s

Enabling frontline operators during the assigned shift in participating in improvement initiatives to promote safety, sustainability and improved efficiencies

Supervising productivity frontline operators during the assigned shift to maximise copper recovery from the slag and minimise traces of copper in the tailings

Supervising performance frontline operators during the assigned shift to improve productivity

What skills and experience do you need?

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering

3 - 7 years in smelter or other base metal mineral processing fields with at least 1-2 years of experience of leading teams

Significant crushing, grinding and flotation operations experience with a strong working knowledge and understanding of technical theory and principles related to crushing, grinding, flotation and advanced process control

Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use integrated management systems, word processing, presentation, spread sheet and data historian applications

Planning and organization skills

Interpersonal effectiveness and Conflict management
