Some of your duties will include:

Responsible for providing an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization’s operations regarding meeting the corporate objectives

Carry out audits and compliance testing to ensure that plans, policies, and procedures are operating effectively with appropriate controls and recommend improvement where necessary

Review and evaluate internal procedures and supporting documentation to ensure they provide an effective control system and identify any weaknesses.

Provide information and assistance to clients to enable them to comply with statutory requirements and standards.

Carry out reviews of specific functions and processes to promote an independent and consulting activity designed to add the best value and recommend improvements.

Assist in developing any internal audit program to ensure all functions are subject to systematic review.

Assist in developing and maintaining all necessary internal control and procedures to assist the clients in complying with financial regulations and statutory standards and meeting their objectives.

Treat all information received as confidential and not discuss anything outside of Internal Audit circles without prior permission.

Carry out audit and performs ethics investigation assigned to Internal Audit.



What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelors or master’s in accounting, Finance, Management, or similar field

Have minimum 4 years’ experience in similar role as Internal Audit fields; Mining experience will be considered and advantage; Experience in Risk Management.

Have experience in General accountancy and developing the SOPs, including Compliance, and Special Audit assignment (i.e., operations, investigation, IT Audit); Experience in Data Analysis Tools and SAP

Have strong and detailed knowledge of financial and audit standards, regulations, and requirements. Preferable with knowledge of Anti-Fraud Program and fraud and ethics investigation, Good Corporate Governance.

Adequate knowledge in ERP systems, especially have knowledge of the SAP system.

Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and Advanced computer skills (i.e., Ms Office products) and reporting process.
