The role of the Sourcing and Procurement Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives and managing supplier relationships in procurement department. This position will support the overall procurement strategy to ensure cost savings, operational efficiencies, and risk mitigation for the organization.
Some of your duties will include:
Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives across the procurement function, including category management, supplier performance management, and cost optimization programs.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, market trends, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and value for the organization.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies that meet business requirements and achieve cost savings targets.
Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage supplier performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs), identifying and mitigating risks to the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, including the development and implementation of procurement policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, including monitoring their financial stability and industry performance.
What skills and experience do you need?
A Bachelor degree in Industrial engineering or business administration or related field with minimum 7 years hands on experience in Mobile Asset Sourcing from Open Pit Mining company background, preferably within a large mining organization.
Has minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role as Sourcing and Procurement Analyst.
Previous experience in SAP would be preferable;
Has CAPEX exercise background and “ Plant Rate “exposure in Mining environment with minimum 3 years relevant hands-on experience is A MUST.
Experience in purchasing high dollar items and preparing complex Purchase Orders or Purchase Contracts
Strong negotiation skills with experience negotiating complex contracts and agreements
General understanding of the Indonesian business, legal system, company law, immigration, manpower, tax, importation, mines and energy regulations;
Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and Advanced computer skills;
