Some of your duties will include:
Monitor and analyse legislation/regulation development/changes that are relevant to PTAMNT Port and provide advice and recommendation to direct report
To ensure the company meets all legal, regulatory and requirements related port and to promote and strengthen company port performance and to reduce any port related risk
Establish and maintain good relationship with key government, and other related stakeholders
Obtaining and maintaining an up-to-date list of the required Port's certificates, licenses, endorsements, Guard, and statutory documentation for the Port Authority and other related national entities delegated to issue licenses in Indonesia
Manage licensing, endorsement and statutory documentation for the Port Authority near IMO and its conventions, OCIFM, ISPS, lala and other endorsing international entities.
Assist in the development of the Port SMS of Norms, Regulations and Bylaws by providing advice to the Port Logistic Department
Perform and execute the processes for Registrations, Marine inspections, PSC, transportation services and all its setup as startup and full implementation as per the road map.
Maintain up to date log register including certificates, licenses and other required documentation
Provide the required reports on the Port legal issues and compliance and properly reasoned reports, documents, instructions and other related procedures.
What skills and experience do you need?
Bachelor's Degree in Maritime, port qualification as Engineer or any other relating field, Maritime Officer or Marine Engineer
Minimum of 10 years of experience working on shipping and Port Operation environment with minimum 7 years in supervisory level.
Good knowledge of Ports policies, procedures and regulations.
Good knowledge of Indonesian and International Marine policy and regulation is a must.
Well-developed computer skills and communicate in English both of verbal and writing
Excellent communication skills with ability to interface with the staff at all levels.
Basic knowledge of local and international marine laws with respect to ownership, flagging, IMO requirement and conventions and classification requirement
Good English language skills including reading, writing and speaking,
Computer literate with experience using MS Office packages (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access and Power Point Presentation)
