Overview

Solve Education! is a mission-driven nonprofit organization focused on empowering youth and communities through education. Its business unit, Solve Work, manages for-profit initiatives that generate revenue to support the organization’s core mission.


We are seeking a Lombok-based Program Assistant to support a wide range of program operations, from implementation and coordination to partner engagement and reporting. This is a 1-year contract position ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about educational access. You will work closely with the Program Team and cross-functional teams to ensure our programs run effectively and in alignment with our mission.


We prioritize applicants who are currently residing in Lombok or have Lombok as their domicile.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support the development of program plans, timelines, and deliverables.
Support the day-to-day implementation of program activities and ensure operational efficiency.
Track progress and contribute to internal documentation, reports, and databases.
Manage scheduling and logistics for meetings, trainings, and program events.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including partners, donors, and beneficiaries.
Draft communications and prepare materials for presentations and reports.
Assist in data collection and reporting for program monitoring and evaluation.
Help track budgets, manage petty cash reports, and support procurement activities.
Support team operations including administrative tasks, internal coordination, and team training sessions.




Qualifications

Must-Have Skills
1–2 years of experience in program/project support roles, ideally within non-profit or development sectors
Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities
High attention to detail and reliability
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Comfortable using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and project management tools
Strong communication skills in multicultural and remote settings
Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for impact
Preferred 

Experience working with NGOs or social impact organizations
Understanding of education and development challenges in emerging markets
Familiarity with monitoring & evaluation concepts and frameworks
