Job Title              : Assistant Executive Housekeeper – Resort Villas

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to help oversee the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of our luxury villas and public areas. This role supports the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily operations, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

You will play a key role in ensuring our guests experience the comfort, elegance, and attention to detail that define [Your Property Name].

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Quality Control:

-          Supervise and coordinate villa cleaning schedules and team assignments.

-          Conduct regular inspections of villas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure adherence to quality and brand standards.

-          Ensure timely villa turnarounds for guest arrivals and departures.

-          Monitor inventory levels of linens, guest amenities, and cleaning supplies.

Team Supervision & Training:

-          Assist in leading, mentoring, and motivating housekeeping staff.

-          Train new team members on standard operating procedures, safety protocols, and luxury service expectations.

-          Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to housekeeping attendants and supervisors.

-          Ensure staff grooming, behavior, and efficiency align with resort standards.

Guest Experience Support:

-          Respond to guest housekeeping requests and special arrangements (e.g., romantic setups, extra amenities).

-          Collaborate with Front Office and Butler teams to ensure personalized and seamless in-villa experiences.

-          Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Administrative & Reporting:

-          Assist in managing departmental schedules, timekeeping, and task delegation.

-          Maintain daily housekeeping reports and communicate room/villa status to the Front Office.

-          Support inventory audits, procurement, and cost control efforts.

-          Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

-          Minimum 2–4 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury resort, boutique hotel, or villa operation.

-          Prior supervisory or assistant managerial experience is preferred.

-          Strong attention to detail and eye for presentation and cleanliness.

-          Excellent communication and organizational skills.

-          Proficient in basic computer applications and housekeeping systems (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, RoomRaccoon, Cloudbeds).

-          Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

 

Preferred Skills:

-          Knowledge of villa housekeeping procedures, laundry operations, and turn-down service.

-          Familiarity with eco-friendly cleaning products and sustainable practices.

-          Multilingual ability is an advantage.

-          Comfortable leading a multicultural team in a fast-paced environment.
