Some of your duties will include:

To ensure technical support to engineering and operations with respect to the Precious Metal Refinery plant through in depth analysis of machine performance and processes and influence conditioning monitoring and predictive maintenance as well as technical training to increase productivity and plant availability. 

To ensure planning to achieve the budgeted production numbers and provide technical support towards inspecting and analysing product quality to check variance in specification and helping the PMR operations team with rectification towards minimising rejections. 

To impact quality, safety and sustainability through across technical services through implementation of Standard Operating Processes, optimum utilisation of resources and compliance with relevant statutory, safety, health and environment norms. 

To motivate performance and continuous training of the PMR technical services team.

 

What skills and experience do you need?

Graduate in Chemical Engineering; Mineral Processing; Metallurgical Engineering; Process Engineering 

10+ years of extensive works experience in supervisory or managerial roles, including overseeing multiple teams or departments. 7+ years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role & capacity in the relevant department in the industry. 

Domain knowledge of operations of process plants 

Understanding of maintenance practices 

Understanding of quality systems and process control tools 

Planning and organization skills 

Analytical decision making 

Teamwork and collaboration 

Interpersonal effectiveness and Conflict management 

Customer orientation 

Communication 

Time management
