Amman Mineral Industri has a Copper Smelting unit located at the Sumbawa Island in Indonesia, comprising of Smelter with Flash Furnaces, Anode Plant, Electro Refinery, Sulphuric Acid Plant, Precious Metal Refinery as well as utilities such as Effluent and Sewage Treatment Plants. The smelters convert copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines in the same island, to copper anodes with purity of 99.5% which are then converted copper cathode with purity of 99.99% (LME ‘A’ grade) at the Electro Refinery. The off gases generated by the smelting process are converted to sulphuric acid of international standard having 98.5% concentration at the Sulphuric Acid Plant. Byproducts of the smelting process are purified to gold, silver, selenium group of metals at the Precious Metal Refinery.
Job Responsibility:
To take responsibility for stores and inventory management matching business requirement in compliance with standard operating procedures, quality protocols and statutory stipulations.
To oversee verification of incoming and outgoing materials as well as corresponding documentation.
To oversee scrap receipt, storage and disposal as per protocol.
Other duties as assigned.
Supervising implementation of SOPs and Delegation of Authority (DOA) for inbound logistics, receipt, issue, inspection, storage, inventory and scrap management
What skills and experience do you need?
Degree in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical or Electrical Engineering
M.B.A. or Diploma in Materials Management or Supply Chain Management
5+ years in procurement in process plants with at least 2-3 years of experience in leading teams
Understanding of Engineering Drawings and equipment specification
Understanding of process plants and utilities
Great in Analytical ability
Have an commercial acumen
Knowledge of legal aspects of contracts and agreements
