Amman Mineral Industri at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia has a Smelter complex including the Smelters, Refinery, Sulphuric Acid Plant, Precious Metal Plant. Copper concentrate, received from the Batu Hijau mines, is converted through a process of smelting and electro refining to copper cathodes of specified purity for shipment to customers in Indonesia as well as other parts of the world. 

 

This role is responsible for the day-to-day supervision and execution  of the mechanical maintenance of the Concentrate Belt Conveyor system, Steam dryer, Gantry scrape including their associated infrastructure and equipment, Overseeing repairs, replacements, and upgrades of mechanical components and systems to maintain reliability and efficiency.

 

Role Responsibility:

To maintain the reliability, safety, and efficiency of  mechanical System  of the Concentrate belt Conveyor system, Steam dryer, Gantry scrape, including associated infrastructure and equipment, of the Amman Mineral Industri Copper Smelter complex at Sumbawa Island in Indonesia in order to maximise uptime of the plant and machinery. 

To  monitor the deployment and productivity of the outsourced maintenance team under jurisdiction for mechanical maintenance in compliance with all statutory, health, safety and environment norms.

Job Requirements:

Graduate Engineer in Mechanical Engineering  or higher in a relevant equivalent  field, along with relevant certifications or specialized training

7 -10 years in mechanical maintenance of  Vertical grinding mill, Belt conveyor system, Ball Mill, SAG Mill, Stacker reclaimer, Crusher, Vibrating screen, tripper conveyor system  of  copper smelter or  relevant experience in Hot metal large scale process plants with at least 4-5 years of experience of leading teams 

Understanding of process / hot metal plant maintenance and reliability

Equipment and system expertise

Proficiency in Design and engineering

Proficiency in Project management
