Job Description
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to support our culinary team in delivering consistent, high-quality food while maintaining smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operation and mise en place of the assigned kitchen section.
Prepare and present dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain food quality, consistency, portion control, and proper food handling.
Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and HACCP standards are consistently followed.
Monitor stock levels and minimize food waste through proper preparation and storage.
Assist with menu preparation and execution based on seasonal ingredients and guest needs.
Guide and support Commis and junior kitchen team members within the assigned section.
Assist with receiving, checking, and storing kitchen supplies.
Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.
Support other kitchen operations as required.
Job Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably as a Chef de Partie.
Experience in a hotel, resort, boutique property, or high-end restaurant is preferred.
Good knowledge of Western and/or international cuisine.
Strong understanding of food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and food safety standards.
Good knowledge of portion control, inventory, and waste management.
Able to work independently and take ownership of the assigned section.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Hands-on, proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working in a remote private-island environment with a lean kitchen team.
Willing to learn and take on responsibilities as required by the operation.
