SPA SUPERVISOR

ABOUT GLAZE
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Spa Supervisor who can lead our team, maintain our standards and make sure the spa runs smoothly every day.
You will be the eyes and ears on the floor, ensuring our team, our space and our guest experience are always up to Glaze standards.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
TEAM SUPERVISION
Supervise and support the team throughout the day
Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming and professionalism
Ensure staff follow Glaze SOPs and service standards
Monitor performance, attitude and teamwork
Give feedback and address issues when standards are not met
Manage breaks and daily floor coverage
CLEANLINESS & PRESENTATION
Maintain exceptional cleanliness across the entire spa
Conduct regular walk-throughs throughout the day
Check treatment rooms before and after treatments
Monitor reception, toilets, showers and common areas
Ensure towels, linens, products and amenities are clean, organised and beautifully presented
Have an exceptional eye for detail and notice the things others miss
DAILY OPERATIONS
Assist with daily scheduling and therapist allocation
Coordinate therapist availability and room allocation
Manage last-minute changes, cancellations and walk-ins
Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
Monitor inventory and stock levels
Minimise unnecessary product waste
GUEST EXPERIENCE
Ensure every guest receives a high level of service
Handle guest concerns and complaints professionally
Resolve issues within your responsibility and escalate when necessary
Communicate guest feedback to the team
Identify problems before they affect the guest
QUALITY CONTROL
Ensure treatments are delivered according to Glaze standards
Monitor hygiene and service protocols
Identify operational issues and make sure they are followed up
Report recurring staff or operational issues to Management
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS
Experienced in a supervisory role, preferably within a spa, hotel, hospitality or wellness environment
Previous experience in a 5-star hotel is a big plus
A natural leader who is confident managing a team
Extremely organised and proactive
Has a strong eye for detail
Passionate about cleanliness and presentation
Comfortable giving feedback and holding people accountable
Calm and professional under pressure
Guest-focused and service-minded
A strong communicator
Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Comfortable working hands-on on the floor
Able to work independently while being part of a team
MOST IMPORTANTLY
You notice the things other people don’t:
A messy room
A missing towel
A therapist who isn’t ready
A guest who doesn’t look completely comfortable
A product that needs restocking
A small detail that doesn’t feel like Glaze
You see it. You address it. You follow up.
