Senior Cook 6/7 Working Day

Position Overview We are looking for a skilled and reliable Senior Cook to support the daily operation of the kitchen by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining consistent food standards. The successful candidate will assist the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in delivering efficient kitchen operations while ensuring every dish meets our 5-star culinary standards.

Key Responsibilities Kitchen Operations Prepare and cook menu items according to approved recipes and quality standards. Complete mise en place before each service. Manage and operate an assigned kitchen section independently during service. Ensure food presentation, portion sizes, and quality remain consistent. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned work area.

Food Safety & Quality Maintain 5-star culinary standards. Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and FIFO stock rotation. Report equipment issues or shortages promptly.

Teamwork Work closely with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and other kitchen team members. Support and assist Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff when required. Contribute to a positive, efficient, and collaborative kitchen environment.

Qualifications Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Cook or 1 year as a Senior Cook in a reputable hotel, resort, restaurant, or commercial kitchen. Ability to manage and operate an assigned kitchen section independently. Strong attention to detail, consistency, and food presentation. Good understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene. Positive attitude with excellent communication and teamwork skills. Passion for culinary excellence and continuous learning. Basic English is an advantage.

Location Willing to be re-located to Lombok
