About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping professional to join our team at Cocoon Reserve in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the exceptional cleanliness, comfort and presentation standards of our facilities. Your work will directly contribute to creating a welcoming and hygienic environment that ensures guest satisfaction and upholds our reputation for excellence in the hospitality industry.
What you'll be doing
Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of guest rooms, bathrooms, common areas and public spaces to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Change bed linens, replace towels and replenish guest amenities in a timely and professional manner
Inspect rooms and facilities for any damage or maintenance issues, reporting these promptly to management
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained
Follow established cleaning protocols and standard operating procedures, including the correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional cleaning services or special needs
Assist in maintaining order and organisation of storage areas and housekeeping departments
Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to support seamless daily operations
Adhere to health and safety regulations and contribute to a safe working environment
What we're looking for
Proven experience working in a housekeeping or similar cleaning role within the hospitality or tourism sector
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, bending and standing for extended periods
Excellent time management and organisational skills to prioritise multiple tasks effectively
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and a professional, courteous demeanour when interacting with guests and colleagues
Knowledge of appropriate use of cleaning chemicals, tools and equipment, with a strong commitment to safety protocols
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work flexible shifts as required
Fluency in English is preferred; additional language skills are advantageous
