General Manager - SANDS Beach Club, Gili Air
SANDS Beach Club is a beachfront club on Gili Air, Lombok: food, bar, sunbeds and events, open year-round for an international guest base. It is operated by PT Mama Pizza Indonesia. Ownership is non-resident, so the General Manager is the most senior person on the ground and reports directly to the owner.

This role is based on Gili Air full time. Gili Air is a small island: no cars, no motorbikes, one boat connection to Lombok, limited medical facilities, power and water outages happen. If you are relocating with a partner or family, have that conversation before you apply.
We will not consider candidates who plan to commute from Lombok, Bali or Jakarta.
THE ROLE
You own the P&L of SANDS Beach Club and lead every Head of Department in the venue: kitchen, bar and service.
Own the monthly P&L: revenue, food cost, beverage cost, labour cost.
Build the monthly budget and explain every variance against it.
Lead and develop the HODs: hiring, scheduling, performance, discipline.
Maintain and enforce operating standards and SOPs across kitchen, bar and service.
Own guest experience and online reviews.
Grow bar, sunbed and event revenue, especially on weekends and in low season.
Run weekly stock counts (opname) and manage suppliers on an island with a one-boat supply chain.
Protect the SANDS brand in everything guests see, on site and online.
Ensure compliance with Indonesian labour law, food safety and hygiene standards.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required:
Minimum 5 years in F&B management, of which at least 2 with full P&L responsibility as GM, Operations Manager or F&B Manager.
Proven experience leading Heads of Department, not only supervising staff.
Working English, spoken and written. The interview is conducted in English.
Real numbers in your application: food cost %, labour cost %, revenue growth you personally delivered.
Willing to live on Gili Air full time.
Strongly preferred:
Beach club, resort or high-volume seasonal venue experience, where bar and events carry a large share of revenue.
Experience writing SOPs and getting a team to actually follow them.
Experience with a POS and stock system, and with weekly opname reconciliation.
Food safety certification (HACCP or equivalent).

IDR 25,000,000 - 30,000,000 gross per month
