About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Accounting and Tax Staff member to join our team in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. This is a hybrid position that offers flexibility in how you structure your working week between our office and remote working arrangements. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering comprehensive accounting and taxation services to our clients, supporting the broader team in maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance. You will work closely with experienced colleagues, contributing to the delivery of timely and professional tax and accounting solutions that help our clients achieve their business objectives.

Key responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing financial statements and accounting records for clients across various business sectors

Assisting with tax planning, tax compliance work and the preparation of tax returns in accordance with current Indonesian tax legislation

Conducting reconciliations of accounts and investigating discrepancies to ensure accuracy

Maintaining detailed and organised accounting records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Supporting clients with queries relating to their tax obligations and providing guidance on tax-efficient strategies

Liaising with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for accounting and tax deliverables

Assisting senior staff members with more complex accounting and taxation matters

Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and firm quality control procedures

Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting and tax processes within the firm

What we're looking for

A professional qualification in accounting, such as a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience

Strong understanding of Indonesian accounting principles, tax regulations and compliance requirements

Proficiency in accounting software packages and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines

Clear written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and English

A professional and organised approach to work, with strong time management abilities

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team environment

Willingness to develop knowledge and skills in taxation and accounting practices

Preferred: Prior experience in a tax or accounting firm, or exposure to corporate taxation matters

Preferred: Knowledge of Indonesian tax compliance deadlines and reporting obligations
