Role Overview
POSITION PURPOSE
Prepare, update and maintain accurate civil and infrastructure drawings for construction, coordination and handover. The role converts approved engineering inputs, survey data and site mark-ups into controlled drawings that can be reliably used by the site teams, contractors and project functions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Prepare and revise civil and infrastructure drawings for roads, drainage, earthworks, retaining structures, utility corridors, site layouts and related enabling works. • Develop plans, sections, profiles, details and construction mark-ups based on approved engineering direction and verified survey information. • Update drawings following approved design changes, site instructions and field conditions; clearly identify revisions and maintain traceability. • Prepare as-built drawings from verified site records, red-line mark-ups, survey data and completion information. • Coordinate drawing inputs with the Senior Civil & Infrastructure Engineer, Site Architect & Design Coordinator, Site Engineer - Civil & Earthworks, Land Surveyor and Infrastructure Site Managers. • Maintain organised CAD source files, drawing registers and revision histories in coordination with the Project Document Controller. • Check drawing dimensions, levels, references, annotations and cross-discipline interfaces before internal review and issue. • Support preparation of construction details and visual information required for technical clarification, tendering, variation assessment and handover. • Ensure only approved drawing information is released for construction and withdraw or supersede obsolete revisions through the document-control process. • Attend site inspections when required to verify drawing information against actual conditions and support preparation of accurate as-built records.
