Research and Development Officer

We are innovating the future of agriculture through sustainable, seaweed-based solutions and are looking for a dedicated and hands-on R&D Officer to support our biosolutions innovation. If you are passionate about sustainable agriculture, marine biology, and creating real-world impact from the lab to the farm, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

Design, execute, maintain, and analyze Zentide's test plots and research facilities as an internal agronomist.

Conduct research on biostimulant feedstock and seaweed cultivation.

Conduct desk research to support ongoing projects.

Work directly with the R&D Specialist to assist with laboratory trials, formulation, and report writing.

Assist the R&D Division throughout the end-to-end product research process for Kaylix and future innovations.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Aquaculture, Agriculture, Agronomy/Horticulture, Biotechnology, or a related STEM field.

Previous hands-on experience in agricultural/aquaculture research or product development is also considered. Experience specifically with seaweed, agronomic trials, fertilizers, or microbiology is a plus.

Excellent ability to conduct end-to-end research and statistical analysis using statistical tools.

Strong interpersonal skills, curiosity, and initiative.

Valid driver's license, SIM A, and preferably able to swim.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Willing to be placed in Praya, Central Lombok, Indonesia, and travel to other regions for fieldwork.
