ABOUT THE ROLE

PT Assawala Persada Indonesia is seeking a meticulous and analytical Quantity Surveyor with strong capabilities in managing quantity, cost, and commercial aspects of construction projects. This position will ensure that quantity, cost, and project requirements are well-controlled from the planning stage through execution.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Perform quantity take-off and volume calculations based on drawings and project documents

Prepare and review BOQ, RAB, and cost estimates

Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents

Monitor quantity usage and costs during project execution

Assist with cost control and project cost analysis

Prepare and review variation orders (VO) and additional/reduced work

Evaluate and compare prices from suppliers and subcontractors

Support tender, procurement, and price negotiation processes

Measure work progress for progress claims and payment certificates

Prepare periodic quantity and cost reports

Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Team, Procurement, Finance, client, consultant, and vendors

Maintain QS documentation and administration in organized and well-documented manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum D3/S1 degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field

Minimum 3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Understanding of BOQ, RAB, quantity take-off, cost control, and variation orders

Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction documents

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and calculation skills

Detail-oriented, systematic, and attentive to detail

Able to work with deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Good communication and coordination skills

Experience in villa, resort, hotel, or commercial building projects is a plus

Ability to use AutoCAD or QS/estimating software is a plus
