We’re Hiring: Aquaculture Manager & Aquaculturist
Seasymbio Project is looking for experienced, hands-on, and data-driven aquaculture professionals to join the SeaSymbio Project in Lombok.
We are currently recruiting for two positions:
1. Aquaculture Manager
The Aquaculture Manager will lead aquaculture production planning, field operations, team coordination, and performance monitoring.
Key qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Science, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant aquaculture experience, including team leadership or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of marine aquaculture operations, production planning, feed management, water quality, animal health, and biosecurity
• Able to develop production plans, budgets, SOPs, feeding strategies, and operational targets
• Able to monitor and analyse FCR, ADG, survival rate, mortality, biomass, and production costs
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, reporting, and decision-making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Willing to be based on-site in Lombok
2. Aquaculturist
The Aquaculturist will support daily cultivation activities, feeding programs, production monitoring, data collection, and technical reporting.
Key qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, Marine Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant aquaculture experience
• Practical experience in fish, lobster, and/or shellfish farming
• Strong understanding of cultivation practices, feed management, water quality, animal health, and biosecurity
• Able to develop and adjust feeding programs based on biomass, growth targets, animal behaviour, and environmental conditions
• Able to monitor and analyse FCR, ADG, survival rate, mortality, and biomass
• Comfortable working with production data and preparing operational reports
• Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and willing to work hands-on in the field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Willing to be based on-site in Lombok
