Some of your duties will include:

Oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical, rotating, and piping systems in the LNG Facility.

Develop & implement of Maintenance plan of mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, packages, piping and material handling for LNG Facility equipment as well as good, especially maintenance and reliability of rotating equipment.

Arrange and manage third-party/vendor services for specific package equipment for maintenance.

Participate in the planning and scheduling of maintenance and construction projects.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of mechanical and piping activities within the LNG Facility.

Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with engineering specifications and standards.

Supervise the execution of mechanical and piping maintenance activities, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with LNG facility standards.

Authorize and manage third-party and vendor activities for specialized mechanical and rotating equipment maintenance services.

Approve mechanical maintenance plans, job procedures, and inspection schedules to ensure operational readiness and equipment reliability.

Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex mechanical and piping issues, recommending appropriate corrective and preventive actions.

Coordinate mechanical maintenance and construction activities across departments to avoid conflicts and optimize resource use.

Approve technical documentation such as maintenance records, inspection reports, and equipment history.

Initiate work orders and ensure appropriate work prioritization using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Ensure compliance with applicable engineering codes, industry standards, and company procedures during mechanical work execution.

Participate in project planning meetings and approve scope, resources, and timelines related to mechanical systems.

Authorize procurement requests for spare parts, tools, and services required for mechanical systems maintenance.

Conducted and approved safety assessments (e.g., job safety analysis) for mechanical and piping jobs.

Evaluate and certify the mechanical integrity of equipment post-maintenance or post-installation.

Mentor and supervise mechanical technicians, providing training, task delegation, and performance evaluation.

What skills and experience do you need?

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience in mechanical, rotating, and piping maintenance within the oil & gas industry, including LNG facilities.

Proven supervisory or leadership experience, with a strong commitment to promoting and maintaining a safety-focused culture.

Expertise in supervising maintenance, inspection, repair, and overhaul of rotating and mechanical equipment (e.g., pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes) and piping systems.

Ability to develop and execute maintenance strategies (preventive, predictive, and corrective) and analyze equipment performance to improve reliability.

Proficient in interpreting technical documentation (P&IDs, isometrics, datasheets, manuals) and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO).

Skilled in CMMS utilization for work order management, maintenance tracking, spare parts control, and scheduling.

Strong capability in planning and executing shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency repairs within budget and timeline constraints, including contractor management.

Experienced in troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), audit reporting, and implementing corrective and continuous improvement initiatives.

Effective collaborator and leader with strengths in team development, cross-functional coordination, decision-making, and interpersonal competencies, with certifications aligned to AMMAN standards and regulatory requirements.
