FLOOR MANAGER – SANDS BEACH CLUB, GILI AIR (LOMBOK, INDONESIA)
PT. Mama Pizza Indonesia is hiring a Floor Manager to lead service and shape the guest experience at SANDS, our beachfront beach club on Gili Air.
We are looking for someone who makes guests remember SANDS by name — someone with strong stage presence on the floor, a great memory for faces, and natural instincts for turning a good evening into a memorable experience guests will talk about long after they leave.
The Role
Own the floor at SANDS — service flow, guest experience, and overall atmosphere — and help make this the place people travel to Gili Air to visit.
What You’ll Actually Do
Lead Service
* Run the floor during peak hours: pre-service briefings, mid-service adjustments, and post-service debriefs.
* Maintain smooth service flow: covers, seating, course pacing, and coordination between floor, bar, and kitchen.
* Handle escalations professionally and recover from mistakes without disrupting the guest experience.
Be the Face of SANDS
* Personally welcome, escort, engage with, and farewell guests.
* Remember names, drinks, preferences, and stories, and use them during return visits.
* Set the energy during peak hours and adjust to the atmosphere, whether it is a relaxed sunset crowd or a busy Saturday night.
* Create signature moments, rituals, or memorable touches that become part of why guests return.
Grow the Team
* Coach junior floor staff in real time: greetings, table awareness, service recovery, and guest interaction.
* Lead a documented weekly 30-minute service standards review with the team.
Reporting
* Submit a weekly report to the General Manager and Owner covering guest numbers, complaints, repeat guests, signature moments, what is working well, and what needs improvement.
You will report directly to the General Manager and, until the GM position is fully in place, also to the Owner. You will work closely with a tight team across SANDS including floor, bar, and kitchen operations.
Who We’re Looking For
* Minimum 2 years of experience in F&B floor operations or guest-facing hospitality such as restaurants, beach clubs, resorts, cruises, or event hosting.
* Strong understanding of service operations and the ability to support, not slow down, the flow of service.
* Comfortable being seen, photographed, and interacting with guests. You naturally make people feel important and welcomed.
* Excellent memory for guests and attention to detail. Remembering returning guests and their preferences is essential for this role.
* High working proficiency in English. Confident, expressive, and able to deliver welcome speeches and hold engaging conversations with guests.
* High energy and resilience. Able to maintain strong performance during long shifts, peak service, and hot weather conditions.
* Calm leadership style. Able to lead a small team confidently without raising your voice.
* Willing to relocate to Gili Air and live in a small island hospitality community with no cars or motorbikes.

* Net starting salary: Rp 8,000,000 – XX,000,000 per month, with salary progression after 90-day KPI targets are achieved. Apply to receive more specific details regarding the final salary offer.
