About the role

Sikara Lombok Hotel is seeking a talented Content Media Specialist to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. Based in Lombok Tengah, Nusa Tenggara Barat, this role is pivotal in creating compelling visual and multimedia content that showcases our luxury hospitality offerings to guests and potential visitors worldwide. As a Content Media Specialist, you will be responsible for producing, curating and managing high-quality photographic and videographic content that elevates our brand presence across all digital platforms. This position is essential to our marketing strategy, helping us connect authentically with our target audience and drive engagement in an increasingly competitive hospitality market.

Key responsibilities

Capture and produce high-quality photography and videography of hotel facilities, guest experiences, amenities and culinary offerings for use across marketing channels

Develop and execute creative content strategies that align with Sikara Lombok Hotel's brand identity and marketing objectives

Manage and maintain our social media content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging posts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and other relevant platforms

Edit and post-process images and video content using industry-standard software to achieve professional standards and brand consistency

Collaborate with marketing, sales and operations teams to identify content opportunities and ensure messaging aligns with promotional campaigns

Create multimedia content including reels, stories, carousel posts and long-form videos tailored for different digital platforms

Monitor content performance analytics and provide insights to optimise future content creation and posting strategies

Maintain an organised digital asset library and ensure all content is properly catalogued and easily accessible

Stay current with photography and videography trends, emerging platforms and best practices in hospitality marketing

About you

Proven experience as a photographer, videographer or content creator, preferably within the hospitality, tourism or luxury retail sectors

Advanced proficiency with photography equipment, including professional cameras and lighting setups

Expertise in video editing and photo editing software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or equivalent programmes

Strong understanding of social media platforms and experience in creating platform-specific content that drives engagement and follower growth

Excellent visual storytelling abilities with an eye for composition, lighting and aesthetics

Proficiency in managing content calendars and scheduling tools

Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for multimedia content optimisation

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high-quality standards

Creative problem-solving mindset with the ability to produce content under tight deadlines
