About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the growing team at The Well Kuta Lombok as a Part-Time Bakery & Pastry Commis based in West Nusa Tenggara. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the production of high-quality baked goods and pastries to delight our customers.
What you'll be doing
Assisting the Head chef with the full range of bakery and pastry production tasks
Preparing ingredients, mixing dough, and operating bakery equipment to produce breads, cakes, cookies, and other baked items
Decorating and finishing pastries and desserts with attention to detail and presentation
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the bakery
Complying with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Contributing to the continuous improvement of bakery and pastry production processes
What we're looking for
Prior experience as a Bakery or Pastry Commis, or equivalent training in baking and pastry production
Strong working knowledge of baking techniques, equipment, and food safety standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures precisely
Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure
A passion for creating visually appealing and delicious baked goods
A positive, teamwork-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
