ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (HOSPITALITY)

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations

Supervise daily accounting activities (accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger)

Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner

Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations, and daily revenue reports

2. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Assist in budget preparation and forecasting

Analyze financial data and provide insights to management

3. Revenue & Cost Control

Review daily hotel revenue reports and night audit summaries

Ensure proper revenue recognition (rooms, F&B, events, etc.)

Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities

4. Accounts Management

Oversee invoicing, billing, and collections

Ensure timely payments to suppliers and vendors

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

5. Compliance & Internal Controls

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies

Maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets

Support internal and external audits

6. Team Supervision

Supervise and train accounting staff

Assign tasks and monitor performance

Ensure deadlines are met and work quality is maintained

7. Systems & Documentation

Maintain accounting systems and financial records

Ensure proper documentation and filing

Work with hotel systems (PMS, POS, accounting software)

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in hospitality

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Experience with hotel systems (e.g., VHP, POS) is an advantage

Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
