A Hotel in Lombok, West Nusa is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head Chef (Full-time)
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day execution
Develop and execute a clear culinary vision aligned with the restaurant concept
Manage, train and supervise a small kitchen team
Ensure consistency in food quality, taste and presentation
Control food costs while maintaining high ingredient quality
Oversee supplier relationships, purchasing, and inventory management
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen organization
Contribute creative ideas for menu development, combining Indonesian and Mediterranean inspirations
Support business growth, including developing daytime service
Monitor kitchen performance and assist with future team expansion and recruitment
Requirements:
Proven of working experience as a Head Chef similar role
Excellent written and verbal communication in English
Strong understanding of food costing, inventory, and kitchen operations
Creative mindset with a passion for menu innovation
Business-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute to restaurant growth
